MISS HENNINGS TEACHES

QR codes are a great way to easily and efficiently link students to class resources while minimizing distractions during technology use times. It also allows teachers to more effectively share class materials (e.g., a classroom open house invitation) with parents and the community. I used QR codes as the foundation for my Digital Citizenship board game, in which students were asked read and analyze the trustworthiness of news articles linked by QR codes on the game cards. I also provided each QR code from the board game on a reference sheet (shown below), so the students could test themselves (and their parents!) at home.
