My name is Casey Hennings and I am currently a senior at Indiana University Bloomington. I am pursuing a degree in Secondary English Education with a license addition in Computer Education. My dream is to teach middle school English/Language Arts or Computer Science.

What excites you most about teaching?

"The endless possibility for change--that's what excites me most. There is something so inspiring and humbling about the fact that teachers are, in essence, collectively raising future generations of Americans. The responsibility is overwhelming at times, but I am honored that I get to help those children grow up to be brave, and curious, and passionate, and resilient--the kind of citizens we need to create a more accepting and progressive society."
